Some of the best fried chicken I have come across hands down. I ordered the snack pack with mild sauce! Good choice! It came with 3 wings and fries! Everything was fresh! The staff was great as well. If you are in Chicago do yourself a favor and visit Harold's Chicken! Oh also they had on of my favorite sodas in one of their vending machines Tahitian treat so good!

Hey ahh...this is suppose to be the best Harold's. I'm going to go back in a few days to verify, but if last nights meal was any indication this shacks gone from first to worst. After the customary 30 minute wait, I lifted the lid of my bucket to find somebody plopped half a gallon of mild sauce on wings that weren't fried hard per my request. The meat of the wings had the texture of gross.
On the plus side a local vagrant offered me the opportunity to purchase 10 pounds of raw shrimp out the trunk of his car as I exited the restaurant. -

So here we go another black own establishment and they make us use the atm machine. So we have to get out of line to use the atm then get back in line when about four people ahead of you now. It takes another 5 minutes to wait for atm machine. This will be my last visit here!!!

Last night around 11 pm was here to order 6 wings of the service was very slow. The cashier was cool taking orders fast but omfg the food was old. Re dipped chicken. Still hand feathers on the wings. The fries was cold and honestly it tasted old. Will never come back again.

I've been going here for most of my life. You don't come here for spectacular service. You come here for the institution that is Harold's, get a '6-piece Mild Hot Salt and Pepper w/ a Tahitian Treat on the side!"
The food is hot and made to order. If you really feeling like a Chicagoan, go next door and grab some Chinese food.
Every time I come home, my first meal is always Harold's chicken.
